The owner of this J/88 sourced from Sitka Alaska wanted something special for treatment of her boat name - a name that has spanned all her boats. While navy hulls may have their limitations in color and styling that can be used, one treatment that is a stand out on navy hulls is metallic. We have perfected creating metal text effects for vinyl decals, studying carefully the pigmentation composition, metal flake composition and light reflection on both hand painted gilt lettering and metallic medallions to achieve a look in vinyl that is non-paralleled.
Opting to go with a silver shift letter fill and gold shadow treatment we worked the look into crew gear and created a logo mark for the team.
With a great season championship under her belt, the owner was all smiles at the 2018 Rolex Big Boat Series!
